About Dominic Savio

Dominic was a student of John Bosco who died at age 14. Despite his youth, he showed extraordinary piety, charity, and purity. He declared "Death rather than sin!" and strove for holiness in daily life. His early death and sanctity made him a model for youth. Canonized 1954.
