About Albert the Great

Albert the Great was a Dominican friar, bishop, and Doctor of the Church, renowned for encyclopedic knowledge. He wrote on theology, philosophy, and natural science, integrating Aristotelian philosophy with Christian doctrine. His student Thomas Aquinas became even more famous. Albert's scientific observations were remarkably advanced. Declared Doctor 1931, patron of scientists 1941.
