About Margaret of Scotland

Margaret was Queen of Scotland who reformed the Scottish church, promoted education, and cared for orphans and the poor. She had eight children (including three future kings) while maintaining a deep prayer life. She strengthened ties with Rome and civilized the Scottish court. She died shortly after learning of her husband's death in battle. Canonized 1250.
