About Enoch

Enoch was a patriarch before the Flood who "walked with God" (Genesis 5:24). At age 365, "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away"—understood as being taken to heaven without dying, like Elijah. Enoch represents intimate relationship with God and hope of eternal life. Venerated in some Christian traditions as a prophet and righteous forefather.
