About Micah

Micah was an Old Testament prophet who denounced injustice and predicted both judgment and restoration. His famous verse summarizes God's requirements: "To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8). He prophesied that Bethlehem would be the Messiah's birthplace (Micah 5:2), quoted in Matthew's nativity account. Venerated as a major prophet.
