Nahum

Nahum was an Old Testament prophet whose book prophesies Nineveh's destruction (fulfilled in 612 BC). While celebrating God's judgment on Israel's oppressor, Nahum also affirms God's goodness, patience, and care for those who trust Him. His vivid poetry describes God's power over nature and nations. Venerated in Christian tradition as one of the minor prophets.
