Gervasius and Protasius

About Gervasius and Protasius
Gervasius and Protasius were twin brothers martyred in Milan during the reign of Emperor Nero or Marcus Aurelius. Their bodies were discovered by St. Ambrose in 386, still incorrupt. The discovery sparked renewed devotion and reportedly resulted in miracles. Ambrose had them reburied in his new basilica. Their cult spread throughout the Western Church.
