Juliana of Nicomedia

About Juliana of Nicomedia

Juliana was a virgin martyr from Nicomedia who refused to marry a pagan senator, declaring her Christian faith and virginity consecrated to God. Tortured during Diocletian's persecution, she remained steadfast. According to her passio, the devil tempted her in prison, but she bound him and beat him with chains. She was finally beheaded around 304 AD.
