About Justina of Padua

Justina was a virgin martyr venerated in Padua. Tradition says she was martyred during Diocletian's persecution, stabbed with a sword while praying. The great Basilica of Santa Giustina in Padua houses her relics. While historical details are uncertain, her cult is ancient and influential in the Veneto region.
