Abbo II of Metz
About Abbo II of Metz
Abbo II appears in the episcopal succession of Metz after Clou. The diocesan list distinguishes him from the earlier Goëry, who was also called Abbo.
Nominis records his local commemoration on April 15. Its chronology is uncertain, pairing a tentative later date with references to earlier documents; it does not support a detailed reconstruction of his life.
