About Aquila
The Roman Martyrology remembers Aquila as the wife of Severian and says the couple were burned at Caesarea in Mauretania. This is a shared martyr notice: it gives no separate account of Aquila’s earlier life or actions. The Bollandist commentary records variant forms of the names and uncertainty about the place in the received account. Her brief biography therefore reports the commemoration and its limits without adding a personal chronology.
