Bonfilius

About Bonfilius

In the Roman Martyrology, Bonfilius is associated with Mount Senario in Tuscany and is named among the seven founders of the Servite Order. The notice calls him a confessor but gives no individual life chronology or personal episodes. Servite Friars Australia describes Monte Senario as the cradle of the Servants of Mary and identifies Bonfiglio among the Seven Holy Fathers tied to the community’s beginnings. The evidence here supports a careful account of his liturgical and institutional memory, not a detailed personal biography.
