The Orthodox Church in America identifies Brihtwald, also called Berhtwald, as a Glastonbury monk and the last bishop of Ramsbury, commemorated on January 22. Its life gives his death in 1045 and burial at Glastonbury, while preserving visions and prophecies as tradition. This is Brihtwald of Wilton, distinct from the earlier archbishop of Canterbury.
