Candidus

About Candidus

The Roman Martyrology preserves Candidus only within a group commemorated at Rome on February 2. The Acta Sanctorum discussion does not supply a separate chronology or personal narrative for him. The responsible account therefore records the group memory and its limits, without borrowing details from Candidus of Thebes or inventing actions for this Roman namesake.
