Epimachus

About Epimachus

The calendar pairs Epimachus with Gordian on May 10, but the wording then turns to Gordian’s torture and death. It does not clearly attribute those circumstances to Epimachus or give him a separate episode. This short account retains the shared commemoration while leaving Epimachus’s individual circumstances unstated.
