Euphemia

About Euphemia

The March 20 Roman Martyrology preserves Euphemia’s name only in a list of seven female martyrs. It supplies no separate biography or individual episode for her. Since the name is also borne by the much better-known martyr of Chalcedon, this profile keeps the date and group as the means of identification and does not import details from the September 16 commemoration.
