Agricius of Sens

About Agricius of Sens
Agricius succeeded Ambrose as bishop of Sens in the fifth century.
The diocesan historical notice describes him as a learned cleric who had served under his predecessor. It reports a letter from Sidonius Apollinaris inviting him to preside over the election of a bishop at Bourges in 472.
His death is placed around 487. His feast at Sens was moved from June 13 to June 15 to avoid its coincidence with the feast of Anthony of Padua.
