Albuin of Brixen
About Albuin of Brixen
Albuin was a bishop of Säben and Brixen around the turn of the first millennium. The cathedral’s history attributes the final transfer of the episcopal seat to Brixen to him, while acknowledging that his predecessor had already built there.
He was venerated soon after his death and is commemorated with Ingenuin on February 5.
The diocesan calendar gives his death as February 5, 1006.
