About Amandus of Rennes
Amandus is remembered as a bishop of Rennes at the beginning of the sixth century.
According to the older collection of saints’ lives cited by Nominis, he chose Melaine to succeed him as bishop.
The church reference records his local commemoration on November 14. Its brief account does not establish his early life or describe his work in further detail.
