Ann An Xingshi
About Ann An Xingshi
Ann An Xingshi was the senior woman of a Catholic family in Liou-Koan-Ying, in Hebei. The church account remembers her alongside Mary An Guoshi, Ann An Jiaoshi, and Mary An Linghua, women belonging to the same extended household.
Boxer forces arrested the four women in July 1900 and demanded that they abandon their faith. They refused and were taken outside the village and killed. She was canonized in 2000 with the Chinese martyrs.
