About Argeus of Tomi
Argeus is remembered with Narcissus and Marcellinus as a martyr at Tomi on the Black Sea. The church account describes them as brothers conscripted into the army under Licinius.
It places their deaths in 320 and says that Argeus and Narcissus were beheaded. The longer account of the young Marcellinus’s refusal, imprisonment and death does not provide additional episodes in Argeus’s own life.
