Baud of Tours
About Baud of Tours
Baud is remembered as a sixth-century bishop of Tours who also served King Chlothar as a referendary. The Nominis account associates his episcopal service with care for people in poverty.
His relics are reported at Loches in the Loire valley. The same church reference explicitly names Saint-Bauld as a locality under his patronage.
His local commemoration is listed on November 7.
