About John Baptist Zhu Wurui
John Baptist Zhu Wurui was a young Catholic from Lou-tchoang in Hebei. It describes him leaving an endangered village to learn what had happened to other Catholic communities.
He was intercepted, brought before local authorities, and handed over for execution after remaining firm in his faith. The individual compilation preserves conflicting July and August readings, including an apparent typographical error.
