About Laurence Wang Bing
Laurence Wang Bing grew up in Guizhou after his parents were imprisoned and exiled. He later married, raised a family, and farmed. His service within the Catholic community led to work as a catechist in several villages.
He eventually went to Mokou with Agatha Lin and worked alongside Jerome Lu Tingmei. Their effort to establish a church brought opposition and arrest. The three refused to renounce their faith and were executed. They were executed in January 1858.
