Biography
Leontius the Canonarch of the Kiev Caves

About Leontius the Canonarch of the Kiev Caves
Leontius entered the Kiev Caves monastery while young and received monastic tonsure there. The Orthodox Church in America's account describes his good voice and says that, after learning to read, he became canonarch, the leader of church singing. He died young in the fourteenth century. The notice locates his relics in the Far Caves and attributes miracles to him, without supplying exact life dates.
