About Paul Ho Hyob

After arrest, he endured severe punishment but eventually denied his religion. The received account records that he soon returned to the judge, withdrew the denial and affirmed that he remained a Catholic.

He died after further punishment in Seoul, on January 31 or February 1, 1840. The church account states that his name was absent from the government report.
