About Titus the Soldier of the Kiev Caves
Titus served as a soldier before entering the Kiev Caves monastery. The Orthodox Church in America's received account remembers his bravery and describes a serious battle wound followed by illness. Unable to continue military service, he became a monk and spent the rest of his life in prayer and repentance. The notice names no battle, commander, or date, so none is reconstructed from the general military setting.
