Zacchaeus of Jerusalem

About Zacchaeus of Jerusalem
Zacchaeus is remembered as one of Jerusalem’s early Christian bishops. The early episcopal list places him fourth, following James, Symeon and Justus. The precise dates of his service remain uncertain.
The Saint James Vicariate includes him among the bishops of Jerusalem commemorated together on 17 May. Its account identifies him as Jewish and assigns his episcopate to 112–119. Nominis instead gives 116 as his death year. These references preserve different conventional dates for the same early bishop.
The French bishops’ calendar also lists a local commemoration on 23 August.
