About Alberic Crescitelli
Alberic Crescitelli was an Italian priest trained for foreign missions in Rome. He travelled to China in 1888 and worked in schools and mission communities along the Han River. The church biography describes twelve years of service before a transfer to Ningkiang.
His ministry ended during the violence of the Boxer uprising in 1900. He was killed at Ningkiang on 21 July. He was canonized in 2000 with the Chinese martyrs.
