About Margarito Flores García
Margarito Flores García was born in Taxco, Guerrero, on 22 February 1899. He worked alongside his farming family before entering the seminary. Ordained in 1924, he taught at the seminary and served in parish ministry.
Persecution forced Flores away from his diocese for a time. After returning, he accepted an appointment to Atenango del Río. He was recognized as a priest, arrested, and taken to Tulimán, where he was executed on 12 November 1927. He was canonized in 2000 with the Mexican martyrs.
